The Liebherr SCFfg 4002 is a steel explosion-proof dynamic refrigerator and static freezer combination. SmartFrost reduces ice formation and makes defrosting easy and less frequent. At a 90° opening angle, the automatically closing door remains open for easy loading and unloading. If the door is open for too long, the LightAlarm ensures that this is quickly noticed and can be remedied.

This laboratory refrigerator is suitable for the professional storage of products at a temperature between 3 °C and 16 °C in the cooling compartment and between -9 °C and -30 °C in the freezer compartment. Typical products that can be stored are research samples, reagents, laboratory inventory, etc. The device complies with the regulations of DIN 13277 for cooling and deep-freeze storage equipment for laboratory and medical applications.

When storing valuable or temperature-sensitive substances or products, the use of an independent, permanently monitored alarm system is required. This alarm system must be designed in such a way that any alarm condition is immediately registered by a responsible person,who can then take appropriate measures

The temperature in the interior of the appliance isset to the required +5 °C as standard and can be adjusted. The minimum permissible room temperature at the installation site is 10 °C.
